I was considering a a Samung 56" RPTV DLP but the number of problem threads in that forum has me worried. Now I'm looking at plasma, specifically the 50PHD7UY. The plasma is a bit smaller than I would like but I think I can live with it and I think the image quality would be better. The initial cost is a bit higher than DLP but is offset by not having to replace a lamp every 5000 hours.
So I'd like to here from people who owned their plasmas for a few years. Is it reliable? Any problems?
