I was in Vegas this past weekend for the de la Hoya vs Mosley fight and I saw Plasma all over the casinos. We stayed at Mandalay Bay and there were about 10 Pioneer 50" on stands showing off vegas clips and ESPN. They weren't HD feeds though, but still. I was so tempted to just take one and walk out with it! Also checked out other casinos and they all have plasmas.


Was talking to the floorman, and she said its the next thing in Vegas, the plasmas are keeping people at the tables, because of the clarity and viewing angles. She said she has no idea why they didnt do it earlier.

I attended the Seybold Conference at the Moscone Center in SF this last week and it was the same there. Plasmas all over the place!

Lots of those at Apple's developer conference at the new bit of Moscone.


At the weekend I wandered through Macy's young ladies cloathing department (just because it was the nearest way to the exit), they had 12 Pioneer panels (43" probably) up for display. It was a bit of a waste, they were all showing the audio status display from a CD player. (Probably a DVD changer in Audio mode.)
