Nothing wrong with it except wear and tear. Now having said that, most moderately priced DVD players are rather poor cd players compared to expensive DVD players, or dedicated CD players....

Playing Audio CD's DVD? Good or Bad for it?
Wondering if it's bad for a DVD player to play Audio CD's? PC isn't that working that well, so listening to my audio CD's lately thru DVD player--Panasonic PV-D4743S? Is it good or bad for it? if it's bad I'll stop doing that immediately.

Yes, it's very bad to actually use your DVD player. Only kidding. A lot of people use their DVD players as their sole CD player.
