Hey, i'm new here just signed up a minute ago seeing this fourm has an enormous amount of information on it.
My question is, I want to play DVDs on my PC not a HTPC and wanted to know if I would get any advantage out of using ffdshow with the filters that are mentioned throughout this fourm, Blur & NR and Resize & aspect ect. Also if it does take advantage what would I set my Resize to the same as my desktop resolution 1024x768 ?
The recently released NVDVD 4 decoder is what I want to use with Zoom Player
I have a 19" Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 93SB monitor, Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 4400 video card, AMD Athlon 2400+ CPU and a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card.
I mainly use headphones or sometimes my Logitech Z-560 speakers.
