I recently purchased a new Panasonic DVD player which is supposed to play .mp3 audio files.

I copied many music downloaded files from my computer hard drive C: to my CD R/W drive E: using windows explorer,drag and drop,on to a CD-R/W disk.

I took the newly created .mp3 disk and inserted it into the Panasonic DVD player. It tries to read it for several seconds and fails. It gives a message on my TV "can't read disk format".

I then put the same disk back in the computer CD drive and bring up audio juke-box player and it plays fine.

Any one have any comments or suggestions on where I might have went wrong?

I am new on mp3 and not real sure about copying and playing .mp3 files.
