Sorry to bring this subject up again but...

I have been been skimming the posts here regarding playing ripped files over a network in TheaterTek. A couple years worth of archives about the subject before TheaterTek even came to be. I did not find one instance of it working without using Deamon Tools and mounting an ISO image.

I use Smartripper and just play the raw files localy by using the subst command but want to run them over the network instead. I do not want to use ISO files because I also use IfoEdit to strip the DVD's down.

Has anyone got this working under TheaterTek yet? I know PowerDVD, WinDVD and most other DVD softwares can play files over the network but why is TheaterTek different?

Or, can an ISO be created of the the stripped and ripped files and then be mounted?
