Need some help here, folks! I am due to show some big screen film clips for Mario Lanza's birthday party at the Philadelphia Mario Lanza Museum on Saturday and I just tried out my Infocus X1 in our basement and got a beautiful ten foot picture using a standard Zenith DVD player...but I cannot get my new Toshiba 2500 DVD portable player to play through the projector, or even a regular TV. This is one of the reasons I bought this unit! I used the A/V output with the yellow, red, and white wires and also tried S-video output. I can only get audio but no picture. I have read the Toshiba instructions and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. Please help, because many Lanza fans are depending on us!

thanks,

Sam

Make sure the s-video on the X1 is selected, and accoding to a Toshiba

SDP-2000 portable DVD player manual online, when you hit the "Monitor"

button, it sucessively cycles through, "Normal", "Vertical Inverse", "External

Interface", and "External progressive". I assume you'd want

"External Interface". Yours must work similarly.

PooperScooper.....

You are indeed a prince....your directions did the trick! This is the way Toshiba saves on battery and screen life because when you hit External Interlaced the screen on the player goes off.

I thank you and all the people waiting to see the show on Saturday thank you!

best,

Sam
