I hope this is the right forum for this.

I just purchased a SONY DVP CX995V mega changer(400 disc) to help

organize my collection of cd's. This is my first mega changer.

I had to convince my wife that this would help organize all our CD's

and would be able to use SONY file manger to scan and setup our collection.

I was under the impression that the all CD's had the playlist on the CD.

Boy was I wrong. I don't want to have to key in over 300 titles.

I know that if I play a CD on my PC I can download the playlist from online DB's.

Is there a way that a can download the list, rip the songs to a new CD so that the

SONY will then be able to see the playlist?

Any ideas or comments would be helpful

I believe you are referring to CD text info. If you load it into your favorite cd ripper, have it do the internet lookup, and burn a new copy with the CD text info, IF the Sony is capable of reading it, it will now be there...

Thanks for the info.

I was looking up PLAYLIST on google, now that you said its

called CD text info I found a ton of stuff and NERO supports it.

Thanks very much.
