I have a Panasonic ax200u and a Onkyo 605 on order and would like to know what kind of picutre to expect when our playstation2 is looked up ?

What would be the best way to connect the PS2?

Component cables would be the best way. Still, the PS2 picture is kinda 'soft'. It is not a good DVD player - I recommend using a separate player. Make sure you set the PS2 up and in each game, to output progressive 480p, and 16:9 where possible. Some games support this and others don't.

Thanks , I will be purchasing a seperate HD DVD player.Just wanted to know how to connect the PS2 the best way.

Not every game has a nice widescreen perspective. GTA for example sucks when in widescreen mode. But GT4 looks great. So it'll vary.

I had mine with component, looked pretty good considering the old technology...
