Guys,

I got a mistake. Perhaps you can help me.

I decreased the speed of the two fans of the lvps and after that everything worked fine. So I tried again to lower speed but after that the lvps doesn´t start up. It makes bub, all leds goes on and after that off. Nothing happened.

To test if the fans rotate with the lower voltage I gave the lvps 220V (europe) without connected to the crt.

Was that my big mistake? Is something destroyed by that? If so could you perhaps say me where I should search for?

Comes the lvps up without the fans?

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I don't want to tell what I did exactly to ask you guys about this, because I was stupid :( .

@gizmo:

I made your noise mod. with the papst fans and reduced the voltage not by your additional resistor; I took diodes cause they have a defined voltage independent of heatdrift as for example resistors hace.

Regarding the lvps and off powering:

The lvps switched off for itself if the fans don't run.

So lowering so much that you can't hear them is no problem it is always secure.

Regards,
