To whom it may concern,


I just started to study the HDTV. Please advise me the difference between hardware type and software type of HDTV. Is there any dedicated HDTV card is in the market? If so please recommend me one of them.


Note:My computer specification is P III 800M Hz, 512Memory.

When you go to the "HTPC" forum, there are a few "sticky" (always at the top) posts... one of those says, "HTPC FAQ - Member Made Just For You!". It is not actually a FAQ, but rather a Meta-FAQ, with links to many other threads that will answer your questions. One such thread is a detailed comparison of HW and SW HDTV cards done by a member called "Eiffel". Open the Meta FAQ and search the page for "Eiffel" and you'll find your answers in the thread linked there.
