Please help! Does the Toshiba hd-a1 play dvd+r's? How is the picture on a large plasm

One word.......GORGEOUS!!

My HD-A1 plays single layer DVD+R's fine, but it chokes on DVD+R DL's always at the layer break. I started using DVD-R DL's and have had no problems whatsoever. I don't notice any PQ difference between the the two format's.
