Alright, I recently purchased my very first HDTV, which was a Sanyo DP42848. I picked it up from Walmart for right around $600. I was excited at first, but I have to admit that I am not impressed with the HD picture quality, and really disappointed with the SD picture quality!
I've only had the Sanyo for 1 month, so I'm planning on returning it to Walmart after I buy a new (and better quality) TV.
I've done A LOT of searching on several forums, and am trying to get the very best deal for my money. Here is what I have come up with:
Sharp Aquos LC42D85U = $1,078.82 from Amazon
Sharp Aquos LC42D65U + Free Sharp Blu Ray player = $1,000 at Sears
Samsung LN40A630 + Xbox 360 + $200 at NFL Store = $1,300 at Best Buy
Are there the three best deals out there at the moment? I didn't want to spend over $1,000, but I will spend more if by spending slightly (under $1,400) more than that I can get a much better TV.
Are these three TV's comparable, or does one of them stick out from the bunch? I like the idea of buying from Sears or Best Buy, because if anything goes wrong I can take it back no problems.
I'm really looking to replace this Sanyo, so any help is greatly appreciated.
