I have a panasonic dmr-ez48v and i want to transfer my tapes to it from my camcorder.

My camcorder is a cannon uc900 how can i do this or what leads do i need.

I would like to transfer straight to dvd on my panasonic dmr-ez48v but i do not mind if i transfer them to the video on my panasonic dmr-ez48v because i know how to tranfer video to dvd on my panasonic dmr-ez48v as i have done this before.

Connect one set of camcorder outputs to one set of EZ48 inputs. The choices include the composite (RCA) yellow video plus the white and red audio. Or, if the camcorder has a S-Video output, that and the white and red audio outputs could be used to make the connection to the EZ48. There are sets of these inputs on the EZ48 rear panel and the front panel. The rear inputs are designated as "IN 1" and the front inputs are "IN 2." Use the "Input Select" button to choose between these inputs as your recording source.


You could also try your camcorders DV output if it has one but not all DV is compatible with other DV, S-video or composite would be a safer bet and probably just as good quality as DV. In theory DV should be better but in practice it's not always the case.
