In this LCD's specs, it states the 480i componect input is for DVD sources and it's other component input is dedicated for DTV at 480p/720p/1080i.

Now does that mean if i hook up my XBox to it's 480p/720p/1080i, it won't display, since it's the input is a dedicated DTV input?

(I know i could use the component 480i, but i would lose out in picture quality)

And is there such thing as a dedicated DTV input? Or can connect any 480p/720p/1080i input, into it?

Thanks so much for any help here,

If the Xbox is outputting one of those resolutions, you should be fine. But I believe there is an issue in that the basic Xbox menus are 480i only. This was discussed on the RPTV forum in regards to the Samsung DLP sets which have similar inputs. You might find some good advice there.
