I'm in the planning stages of connecting my NEC lt 240k projector to a HDDVR that Time Warner cable offers it is a scientific atlanta explorer 8000 it has a Dvi output and component output, my projector has two rgb 15 pin inputs and 1 output. I've been told that the 15pin cord can have the 3 rbg on one end and the 15 pin on the other end to make it compatible. I 've also heard of converters that change a 15 pin rgp plug to a Dvi plug I don't know which one will work best especially since I'll be running it 50 feet. In addition to the Cable box I will be connecting a progressive scan Dvd player (RGB I guess) a PS2 , stereo surround, and a VCR. I don't know how those should be connected either. I don't want 4 50 foot cables, either.t I guess I'm just looking for the best way to do this without breaking the bank without sacrificing picture quality. Any ideas, suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
