I have a 65 inch plasma but I want something bigger for movies. I am going to have the screen ceiling mounted and it will come down in front of the plasma.


What brand names should I stay away from and what should I look for in a screen?


Anybody have a favorite dealer?

A good place to learn about screens is da-lite.com. Da-Lite is a well-established, reputable screen manufacturer that makes just about every type of screen imaginable. When you learn enough to be more specific about what type of screen you want--manual or electric, tensioned or non-tensioned, budget range, screen size--we can be more helpful. We will also need your room description, seating arrangement, light control, planned projector make and model, and whether you want to ceiling mount or shelf mount the projector.
