Hi-
Everytime I try to use Zoom Player with FFDSHOW, I get huge lag and sometimes total unresponsiveness in any given DVD's menu. I have disabled all of FFDSHOW's settings and just had it run in Zoom Player's "additional filters," and it still causes this. Playback during the movie is fine. At first I thought it was because I had too many options selected, but like I said, with nothing selected, it still staggers.
When I disable FFDSHOW in the "additional filters" box, zoomplayer runs fine.
My system isn't the fastest, but it's no slouch:
AMD mobile 2400+ (running @ 2.2ghz)
512mb Corsair Ram
Abit NF7-S v.2
Ati Radeon 9600xt
I figure if I can run Far Cry without a hitch, I should be able to get the DVD stuff up and running with some pretty good filtering. If anyone can point me in a worthwhile direction I would be most happy. I want to buy ZoomPlayer, but only if I can get FFDSHOW to work.
thanks
