Sorry about the crude sketch done on ms paint. I am trying to figure out where to mount my projector. The problem is the 12 inch header that hangs down from the ceiling about 4 feet from the screen wall. I would like to put the projector in position A but I am not sure if this is possible because of the angle it would have to project down. Also I want the screen to be as high up on the wall as possible and I figured placement B would be better because if placed in spot A I would have to account for line angle C which would cause me to have to place screen lower on wall. I am thinking a panny 3000 but am still deciding. any suggestions for this setup?

What screen size do you want? it makes a difference on how far back you need to place the projector.

Also the lens shift available on a particular projector will dictate how high or low the projector can go.

All that said, B will probably win out.

Looking at around 118" or so screen, would really like to go with placement A if a projector has that much lens shift. Mounting will work better and i will be able to hide the projector if I can go that route, but that header in the front of the room is giving me fits.
