Hello everyone

This Benq 46W1 is an oldish model, so I assume some of you should own or seen this. Any comments on the picture quality or other aspects? How do I enter the service menu to check the hours used? THanks all.

I have had mine for 9 months and am pleased with it. I like the 46" screen and the price was right. I do have one problem with it and I have been ignoring it but now that I'm coming up on one year, I need to deal with it.

Whenever I'm watching HD content through component input the icon for "searching for 1080i signal" pops up whenever there is a short pause in the picture i.e. between scenes, before an instant-replay etc. I saw it A LOT this past weekend during the NBA All-Star game and also a couple of weeks ago during the Super Bowl. The problem is that whenever the icon pops up, it blackens the screen so it's very annoying. It hasn't been that big of a deal because I so seldom watch HD (because of TIVO) but now with the new HD TIVO I know I'll be watching it a lot more.

Anyone else with a BenQ have this problem?
