I've had my Z1 for about 2 months and I've just started to notice a single black line at the top of 2.35 DVD's (about a 1/2 inch down from the start of the viewing area) and a faint 1 or 2 lines at the bottom. It shows up on both of my DVD players. 1.85 titles look fine. Do any other Z1 owners see this?

Seen that on all TV's, projectors, etc..... for years now. Would love to know what it is, too.

I'll check for your problem tonight (I'm 12' from an 8' wide screen also). What movie were you using? Maybe I have it.

i see that on my x1. i actually took pics and posted them here a few weeks ago. i've seen it happen an 16:9 stuff too. not every movie does it. i didnt see it at all on Wasabi but it's there on SW Episode I and The Mummy.


no hard answers yet. some people think its related to Edge Enhacement. (search for that term for more info)
