Hey everybody,
Been lurking for a while. I love reading about and dreaming about home theater for my house and seeing what some of you guys have done to your homes. I've slowly gathered some halfway decent stuff for a 3.1 setup. Not audiophile level by any means but certainly not radio shack level either. So I'm looking to add surround speakers to my setup. Unfortunately because of my room I have to add them in the ceiling. I've been considering picking up a pair of 90-RT's. Does this seem like overkill for surround speakers? I want to get something of decent quality and don't mind spending a few hundred dollars. My system is made up of a Denon AVR-3312ci receiver and Pinnacle speakers containing BD750s FL + FR, BD300 Center and babyboomer 8" sub. Overall I'm pleased with all 3 front speakers. Eventually I'd like to upgrade the sub as its not big enough for my room but I feel like surrounds would help round out my system first and then focus on a better sub later on. Opinions please mostly on the Polk's but any other criticism is welcomed as well. Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say.
Thanks,
Steve
