Hi --

I'm looking to setup a 5.1 system, perhaps 7.1, with using the Polk RC85i's as front and back L&R. What in wall center channel, receiver, and sub would best pair with these speakers? I'm having a hard time finding good information and was referred to here.

Thanks in advance.

The ideal center would be another RC85 oriented the same way as the left and right.

If you can't do that the Polk Audio 255C-RT.

Subwoofers:

PORTED SUBWOOFERS $600 AND BELOW, DELIVERED

NOTE: IF LOOKING AT LARGER/MORE EXPENSIVE SUBWOOFERS ADD PSA TO THE LIST OF BRANDS

ALSO, IF YOU ARE NOT AN ACTION MOVIE FAN A SUBWOOFER WITH 22-30HZ EXTENSION WOULD BE FINE

Specs are from the manufacturer unless noted otherwise.

Thanks for the reply, I?ll end up having to do the 255c RT for the Center channel.

Any advice on the receiver or just try to find one that fits the speakers output in the 100w per banner range?
