I have Polk Monitor 60 fronts and a CS2 center. I am using some small klipsch satellites for the rears but am wanting to replace with floorstanders in Polk to match the rest of the speakers as well as sound good for playing music.


I found that the Polk TXi 330s are on sale at Best Buy for $125/each right now but I can get Monitor 50s from Polk for $100/each. I like the speaker grills and cabinet of the TXi better as my grills on my monitors crack easily however I would go if the Monitor 50s if they produced better sound. Thoughts?

If you perfer the look of the TSx330t's go with those.


I don't think going with the Monitor 50's as surrounds outweighs the benefits of the improved looks of the TSx330

And just found I can get the monitor 65T for $250 a pair as well further complicating my decision. I don't really need the extra for home theater but for surround sound music it might be nice.
