I was one of the few who do not have HDTV. I just haven't been able to afford a STB. I was planning on getting a DTV decoder capable of OTA reception.
Now my cable company is offering HDTV via digital cable. The plus side of this is that I can rent a STB, for digital cable, for about $11.00 a month. The down side is that I won't be able to decode an OTA signal via this convertor.
So I'm happy I will be getting HDTV finally but a bit disappointed that I will not be able to get the other local channels not offered by my cable company via antenna.
