I've had my Sony 52" W3000 LCD for several months now. I love it, but in the past few days, it's been making a low, quiet popping noise every 10-15 minutes while it's on. It almost sounds like it's settling in like a house, or the sound your keyboard makes if you push on it a little. I actually just heard my CRT monitor make the same noise, but that happens very rarely. If it wasn't for the frequency that it happens to my TV lately, I wouldn't be concerned. But, it's been happening a lot lately, which it didn't do up until a few days ago.
At first, I thought maybe it's the TV stand, but I never hear it happen unless it's on. Should I be concerned? Or is this normal settling in of the parts inside? I spent more money on this than my car's worth. So, I'd hate to neglect an issue, and not get it taken care of before the warranty is over.
Thanks,
Anders
