If the High-def version available on Xbox Marketplace is anything to go by than the HD DVD version should look great!

I watched this earlier this week, I enjoyed it, I wasn't expecting much because alot of people said the movie wasn't that good, but I enjoyed the movie.
I would give the PQ a 4 out of 5...Some scenes were excellent, and some spots were just good....overall not caliber of Batman, but a step under in my opinion.
Audio is Dolby True HD, and again, it isnt Batman but it is very good...I had fun watching this movie..

I watched the HD verison on xbox marketplace on my Projector looked pretty good. So the hd-dvd should look even better. Movie was okay, Nothing worth buying.
Wasn't the HD-DVD supposed to contain the extended cut?
Hopefully it makes it out soon...
i enjoyed the movie. I saw only the DVD but it was good. I like ship movies and I think anyone should give it at least a rent!

Watched it last night and the above is bang on
I'm glad it's not the extended cut. What I liked about this movie was that they wasted little time getting to the disaster. The extra footage in the longer cut is likely at the beginning for character development, and it may drag the film down if it's not interesting or handled well. I also don't want any more frames of Fergie added.
Worst PQ of all my HD-DVDs in my opinion - unless my copy is different (I've had it for a month).
It is cheap for a combo, though.

It looked awful in SD, typical Super35 lack of detail.
I guess they delayed the title so they can bring over all the mediocracy of the SD version.
