possible to Bi-amp a speaker with only one set binding posts?

i used an adcom amp in the past to bi-wire a set of def tech speakers, even though the amp only had one set of binding posts per channel (just connected both reds and both blacks on amp side).......if a receiver is capable of bi-amping with to sets of binding posts on amp side (panasonic xr-sa70s), would there be any benefit bi-amping into a speaker with only one set of binding posts?......adding more power to the speaker in 2 channel mode?

No advantage and possible damage may result. Don't do it.
