I currently have a SA 8300HD from Brighthouse Networks for my HDTV downstairs and have been thinking about getting a non-dvr HD box for the upstairs...


Would i be able to use it via DVI on my 17" Dell LCD that has a DVI input?

In general computer monitors cannot be connected via DVI as HDTV displays because they don't support HDCP copy protection.

Ahh ok....


Do they make any Component --> DVI adapters?


EDIT: Would this work? Just using it the opposite direction.....
