Before CES I was pretty much set on buying a Sammy LN32A650 even though it (like pretty much every 32" I've researched) lacks many of the features of its larger 650 siblings. But I decided to wait to see what the future would bring. So far I haven't heard of any awesome new tech, especially for 32" LCDs.

Did anyone hear anything coming out of CES that would tempt you to wait until later in 2009 for a 32" LCD purchase, or that would make you look at 32" sets from other companies?

Thanks!

As you said, it looks like the improvements are going to be pretty minor in 2009. But I would still consider waiting for the new models. If for no other reason, then because 1080p 32" LCDs are expensive right now. The LN32A650 is $400 more than I paid for my 720p 32". I think I would wait for either the release of the 2009 models or for clearance pricing on 2008 models (like Amazon's price on the TC-32LZ800 a few weeks ago). But if the price of the LN32A650 doesn't bother you, then there probably isn't a compelling reason to wait.
