Post-Transition Naxa SD digital converter boxes - poor ratings

7136 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  seatacboy
The Naxa NT-50 and NT-52 appear to be nearly identical to the 2008-2009 CECBs, but according to reviews, there is NO RF out connector. The only output connection to a TV is via composite cables. Many televisions manufactured before 2000 will not have composite inputs. The reviews of both units at Amazon are miserable, the five user reviews at Walmart.com are also poor. If anyone here has bought this SD digital converter box, what was your experience? At many retailers this is the only SD converter box in stock, but again, it does NOT have the RF out connector that was required under the Federal CECB program. Quality control doesn't seem good either.
