I can't believe I forgot Pink Floyd - Dark Side!!

I haven't found Yes - Fragile in our local Circuit City yet. The selection of DVD-A sucks there. There is a Best Buy about an hour from me, they seem to have a much larger selection.
Wow even with so few posts I figured Queen:A Night at the Opera and Fleetwood Mac:Rumors would be right up there....oh well let me be the 1st.
Favorite SACD's:

Alison Krauss + Union Station Live

Beck - Sea Change

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde

Norah Jones - Come Away With Me

Nickel Creek - This Side

Nickel Creek - Nickel Creek

Mark Levinson - Live Recordings at Red Rose Music Volume One (the ultimate demo)

...and alway hunting for more...

The best DVD-A sound that I've heard was, I believe, the first album produced in DVD-Audio - Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band - Swinging for the Fences. I love big band stuff but even if you don't, you'll appreciate the amazing energy and musicianship. They also did a second album that isn't quite as good as the first but very nice.

There seems to be so much more available in SACD that I'm planning to add a second DVD player, this one with SACD. (My primary is a Kenwood 400 disk changer which has DVD-A.)

Craig
Circuit City seems to only stock one of a title, and even then only the bigger name artists. Best Buy has a much larger selection, but Circuit City tends to run about $2 cheaper pricewise.

As for Fleetwood Mac Rumors, I love the album, but I was unimpressed with the surround mix on the dvd-a.
Fav DVD-Audio Titles:

Sinatra at the Sands (prefer the stereo mix)

Fleetwood Mac: Rumours

Queen: A Night at the Opera

Don't have any SA-CDs yet.

Its not DVD-a or SACD but the

Police "Every breath you take" DTS version

It is so immersive on my setup.
My fave SACD is Duke Ellington's Blues In Orbit.
Shania Twain SACD

Coors DVD-A
Phansson,

I have the SACD version of the Police Every Breath You Take an I must say it sounds very good too.
All the ones mentioned are great...and I'll add one more:

Richard Thompson - Rumor And Sigh

I need to upgrade my DVD player so I can take advantage of SACD, looks like I'm missing a lot of HI-RES music with just a DVD-A player.

~ Jay
Beck-Sea Change

PF-Dark Side Of The Moon

The Who-Tommy

Frank Zappa-Halloween (anyone see the SNL performance from the 70's a couple weeks ago?)

REM-Document "King Of Birds"

If you want to sample state of the art, try any AIX recording. If you buy one from their catalog, you also get their sampler disk for free. Virtually everyone on the Spot that has listened to them has become a convert. Check them out:

No, I don't work for AIX. JR
My favorite DVD-A titles:

- Queen "A Night At The Opera"

- Deep Purple "Machine Head"

- Bach "Organ Spectacular" by Ton Koopman
Just listened to Steely Dan - Gaucho.SACD......very nice! Much more detail than the redbook version.
