I think you should only use one if you need one. Don't fix it unless it's broke.

If you have noise problems or lots of line sags then they are useful.


But a line conditioner is not going to fix a problem that is not there.

I have a Monster HTS5000MKII that solved several small problems for me, but I will no longer purchase or recommend Monster products. Other companies make products that will do the same things.

In any event, whatever you try, make sure the store has a decent return policy, because if you bring it home and you can't hear/see any difference, take it back and get a top quality surge suppressor.
