Power line conditioner blowing up?

750 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  Rakesh.S
I purchased a belkin pureav pf30 last week. Plugged in all my devices (controlled by a harmony 360 remote).

The first time, I powered up just the tv, and it came up no problems.

A few hours later, I tried to execute the "watch tv" activity, which turns on my tv and onkyo 605 receiver. It acted like it was going to come up, and immediately shut down.

I have no lights on the belkin any more, even after unplugging all devices and resetting the fuse.

Question - is the inrush too high when the tv and receiver are turned on at the same time? The power conditioner is busted right now, and amazon shipped me a replacement...I'm thinking that the belkin pf30 is defective, but if that isn't the case, I'd like to not repeat the same mistake again.
