Hi all,

I'm getting my Mits 65413 Calibrated tomorrow, and was wondering what everyone is using to protect their investment (HDTV, receivers, sound system, etc).

Don't want my investment to go up in smoke as I just have a basic surge suppressor on there right now.

Been looking around. Anyone have any suggestions? Looking for something under $200.

Don't have surround sound system installed yet (trying to figure out where to place it in the living room).

Surge suppression is important and line conditioning could make a world of difference depending your electrical system.

i'm using a pair of ups units. one is an apc, the other is an eveready. the apc is for the rptv, the other is for the rest of the electronics. i tried using just the apc unit for the whole system, but it was undersized, and the breaker popped during the battle scenes in LOTR. oops! so i ran out and bought whatever was on sale and split the system up. so far so good!

Do any UPS filter the power or do they just rely on the battery for line conditioning?
