Building a new system and I need some advice.

The system will be as follows:

Intel i7-3930K

MSI X79A-GD45

XFX Radeon 6950 2GB

Antec P280

Seagate Barracuda XT 3TB

Corsair Force 3 240GB

Corsair Vengeance 16GB

I have a bunch of Future Shop gift cards I plan on using for this particular purchase so I was limited in selection for the power supply. I was thinking of these 2:

Cooler Master Silent Pro 850 http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/cooler-master-cooler-master-silent-pro-850-watt-power-suppy-rs850-ambaj3-us-rs850-ambaj3-us/10162301.aspx?path=6cb352fcf58a7faea8a98e1220a6c9b2en02

or

Corsair TX850 V2 http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/corsair-corsair-850w-pc-power-supply-cmpsu-850txv2-cmpsu-850txv2/10190735.aspx?path=861f1bb21d4b39d4768978ce4e19d5fben02

I like the fact the Cooler Master is silent and modular but I have never used one of their power supplies. I've had nothing but success with Corsair and I currently have the first gen TX750 in my system, The only drawback is that it's not modular and I would assume a little louder. The HX is another $50 I would not want to spend. Silence on this build will be a bit more of a priority but I would not compromise on quality to do so.

Any thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated!

The Corsair got a very good review from JonnyGuru.

That said, it seems that even with that video card you've got a couple hundred watts more than you need.

I assume this is a gaming machine?

1000w is way overkill IMO. With that setup, even adding more HDDs, an optical drive and a few peripherals your looking at around 600w max.
