Hi everyone

Ok I just got my new Dell P4 2.66 with a 9000 Pro video card delivered yesterday and it came with PowerDVD 4.0 on it and I'm going to download Dscaler will this be enough quality output to do a full mechanical setup on an NEC PG6 CRT projector which I also just got?

I'm new to this so if you can help me I'd really appreciate it.

Do I need to get TheaterTek and Powerstrip before I begin or can I get very good output to the projecto this way?

Is PowerDVD any good at all?

Thank you for reading this.

Powerdvd is ok. Not terrible but TT is nicer for a HTPC.

You will need Powerstrip (shareware is fine). I suggest running at 1280x720 at 71.928hz for watching movies. For tv viewing with dscaler you might want to change to 59.94hz

If you just run it at 60hz it will stutter for movies and tv stuff may show some judder.
