Hi there,


I've been trying to play HD DVDs on my PowerDVD 6.5 however , the only audio option I receive for 6 channel audio is CLMEI 2. I know the disc has DDPlus as the audio codec so I know it has 5.1. Can anyone give me some advice as to how to change this so that either it actually works in surround, or I can adjust the volume.

I had to set mine to SPDIF for it to work...BUT I am using Vista. Can you not use 7.0 Ultra?

Are you trying to get audio out the analog outputs or digital out (SPDIF)?

Well I just tried it out on mine, and apparently, it's telling me, it's only 2 channels, even though 6 are selected. I'm running Vista, and CAN get SPDIF out to work, but not at the moment (damn creative drivers); so I'm on analog at the moment. 7 Ultra gives me 5.1 sound, but the picture is all corrupt
