I have both WinDVD and PowerDVD. I had had problems because of the non-compatibility of the M-Audio card with AMD and KVI chipsets. I bought a new board and P3 processor and loaded PowerDVD without problem. I was so excited to have the HTPC work I never tried WinDVD.

I would now like to load WinDVD to make my own comparison of systems. However, I don't want to screw up a working system.

So, my question is:

1. is there any problem with having both of these on one machine?

2. are there any tips about avoiding conflicts between the two systems?

3. or should I stick with PowerDVD 3.0 and be happy?

Any advice appreciated. cT
