Hello


I am looking for a good, affordable powered subwoofer for my home audio/video system.


I want it to be a 10 inch system or larger.......and be less than $400.


My local dealer here carries Klipsch, Paradigm, Sony, Yamaha, and McIntosh.


Also....


It doesn't have to be between those 4 however. Are there any online authorized dealers to purchase home audio speakers from?

You might be able to find the HSU VTF-2 in the 399-449 range. It's 499 direct from HSU(and worth every penny)...but you also get better customer support(direct from Hsu instead of the dealer).


i think the VTF-2 would outgun anything in the same pricing from most other manufacturers.

Adire Rava from Adire Audio should also be in the consideration. They're $400, sealed enclosure, and known to be a very musical sub.

Of the 5 that your dealer carries, I would consider the Paradigm and then the Klipsch.
