I'm looking for some kind of powered window curtain, for an 8' doorwall. I would like one that maybe rolls down from the top, such as the outside mounting security blinds that are available. That way it would be light-tight, because I get the afternoon sun blasting in this doorwall, on to my rear projection TV ( soon to have a motorized ceiling mount screen). I've searched and can only find motorized drapery hardware. I'm a pretty good D-I-Y type, so anything that's suggested can be handled. Thanks

Lutron has some morterized shades, I think they are kind of expensive.

I think someone metioned on another thread that Hunter Douglus had some or was coming out with some.

Al- I have 3 high windows in a 2-story FamilyRoom/Home Theater room. They aren't reachable to open or close blinds, so I used Hunter Douglas Power Rise. It's a light blocking cell shade operated by remote control. Batteries included for remote & power rise motor. I got 'em on sale at Home Depot. They work great and from a long distatance, too!
