I am setting up my HTPC and upon installing the latest Powerstrip I can no longer switch between monitors. Powerstrip diabled Nview, the switching utility that came with my GeForce 4 - 8x Ti 4200. I have searched the Entech site and cannot seem to find any manuals or instructions on its use.

Powerstrip itself appears to not even know that there is a second output on the card.

Anyone else had this problem ?

Oops - nm - I didn't have the breakout cable plugged in to the GeForce - Doh!

Trying to learn XG & HTPC all at once is taxing my patience, but I have perused tons of info here and ALL of the XG posts, but still need a tad more help before I can turn the corner.

I am now getting a signal out of the card alright, 1440 x 960P x 72

but I just get that scrolling display with the high pitched squeal on the XG110 even on 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600.

Yes, I unplug the breakout cable real fast when I get that, but I cannot seem to get it to, what's the word ?, sync ?

After reading the tech manual, it seems to me that it should 'sync' (if that's the correct term) correctly without any intervention, but then I have to set up the 'signal entry' to carry over some of the setup parms - have I got this right ?

Can someone explain this 'Signal Entry' thing to me ?

I am able to get an input to the S-video from my Tivo to display very nicely.

I had an XP window up yesterday for awhile, but I'll be darned if I know how to get it again.

TIA for any and all help
