PQ and circuits. . .

Like most of you, I normally watch my movies in the dark. The other day though, I turned up a halogen lamp to pick up a pile of magazines one of my sons knocked over in the dark. I was surprised when I looked up at the screen to see scan lines and artifacts that I'd never noticed before. At first I was worried but as soon as I turned the light back off they disappeared.

I was left wondering though, if I rewired the circuits could I get an even better picture! :D

I ran a dedicated video circuit to the PJ when I added it to my system, and dedicated audio circuits to the audio equipment, so I would not have to wonder as you are now doing. I can detect no improvement in the audio since I did this. If you have no video problems, and your picture compares favorably to other HD2 PJs that you have seen, then you don't need to run a dedicated circuit. Just leave that halogen light off.
