I personally been using pure copper (belden 1694) for my interconnects.


I have PLENTY of steel/clad RG6 QS 2.2 & 3 ghz coax cable. Is it okay to use these for long runs ? Let's say for example, the source is 30-40 feet away from the plasma, etc and I run 8 runs, etc from the source to the plasma to use as my interconnects. Can this be done or am I better off sticking with the belden 1694.

Personally, I'd use the Belden.

Belden 1694A will outperform all copper clad steel. CCS coax should only be used for RF.

The Marine and I seem to agree on this issue: RG-6 has zero benefit over RG-59 for audio and video, but several disadvantages, both physical and signal-wise.
