I'm planning to use some 4" Precision Ports but I need them to be longer than the standard size.

I haven't purchased them yet because I don't know if you can buy any typical plumbing accessories from Lowes or Home Depot that will fit the Precision Ports outer diameter.

Does anyone know if I can buy any type of piping at the local hardware store that will fit the inner or outer diameter or their ports......well, without the use of duct tape to hold them together.

BIGmouthinDC, I was hoping to just buy something from the hardware store. I haven't checked to see how much Precision Port charges for straight sections and an elbow.

Dan, thanks for the tip. I've been in Rockler 4 times in the past 6 days buying a lot of veneer they have on sale. They have a decent amount of overstock at 50% off, then they have a coupon allowing for another 50% off any one clearance item! So I got 4 rolls of 36"x96" veneer for $20 each and a couple 24"x96" rolls for $12.50 each!

Oh, and a $200 router table for $28.50!

I quickly looked for 1" roundover bits today, but didn't see any. And I don't recall any of the 1.25" that you mentioned. But I guess I'll be heading back there again tomorrow to check.
Thanks.

Is there a link to that 50% off coupon?

I'll try and find it, but I think it's on their website. They also have them in the flyers at the store. There's no bar code on them, and they don't even ask you to show it, or rip it out of the ad. But they won't let you use it for more than 1 sale item. So go with a friend or go back a few times like I did. I got some cherry, mahogany, and some African mahogany. Might get more later.

The sale ends at the end of this month.

I think you're going to have a little trouble finding off the shelf material at Lowes or HD...it'll depend on how well stocked your stores are. A plumbing supply house will have more options.

The PP tubing is considerably thinner than standard Schedule 40, which is likely the most common PVC at your local home centers. I think the green drain pipe, found at some Lowes, may be a match...seems like that's what ThomasW found years ago, but I've never mic'd my PP or the thin wall options at my local Lowe's to test for sure.

Seems like I also found a close match in the Charlotte Pipe catalog based on slapping a ruler across a piece of 4" ID PP and eyeballing it when I thought I might need to extend. Seems like it was sched 20/25/30? thin wall DWV. Ended up not needing it so never used a caliper to on the PP to see if was truly identical to the Charlotte material.
