Since I have helped people out at work with their systems, etc. My day job got ahold of me to review their plans for a surround system to be used for "dog and pony shows", etc
Well the problem is that this is a 10,000 cu ft room, the budget will be fairly limited.
They have it subcontracted out and the "sub" for the room is a JBL SB2. A 10" slot loaded driver. (see link)

Now on the positive side, it should play at least decently loud for $230 but, the thought of the entire low end being taken care of by a 10" driver (-10 dB at 38Hz) for 10k cuft is a bit much.
I know getting this to reference is an unrealistic goal, so is anywhere near 20 Hz. Reality is that 35Hz should be more than adaquate for the application.
Any ideas?
