Has anyone run across problems with Samsung rptv's and pro scan modules??? Im trying to help a friend out.....His beast is a Samsung HCN4226wx. It's a 3 gun crt display. Picture converges properly but has herringbone video noise problems on all inputs( less noise on DVI). Samsung does not sell the board anymore (the tv is only 2 years old)! I would try and do a board level repair but its all SMT's and no parts look fried etc. Andrews can have the part in a month and it's a rebuilt board..I dont want to wait that long. Any suggestions?
