that I need to make to component to component. Its a long high quality cable that I want to keep if I can.


My old pj had VGA input while my new one has component (and DVI).


If I remove the VGA termination, can I convert to component? What wires go where?

There are a variety of black boxes that convert vga to component or rgb, but with a highdensity vga I wouldn't attempt any splicing or cutting.

You could also get a VGA to BNC breakout that would plug directly into your existing VGA cable (might need a gender changer) and them plug that into your projector.
