Hi, I'm new here.
When I connect my Western Digital external hard disk (500 Gb) to this DVD player (Onkyo DV-SP405), and switch to usb mode, the hard disk starts loading after which I get a window:
divx/wmv
mp3/jpeg
But, when I connect my new Western Digital external hard disk (1T), I never get the screen with the options. The player goes in MP3 mode automatically, so I cannot watch divx videos from the new hard disk.
Is this problem related to the external hard disk? The disk is recognized, and audio can be played, it's just that I can't choose divx.
