Ok here is the issue I am having. I just got my new 1080p TV. When I go to watch my blu-ray movies (happy feet) I get a little line that starts at the bottom of the screen and makes it's way up it. so I talked to sony they were not much help. I know it is the hdmi issue because I hooked it up though component cables and no little line. So I was wondering dose anyone think it might be because I am using nykon hdmi cables or is it my TV hdmi ports that are messed up. I called samsung and they said it is a DVD issue not the TV so I dont know. thanks for your help in advance.

Does this only happen on one movie? Do you see the line when you play games?

It seems to me that Samsung wants to blame its problem in the other guy. Did you talk to the store where you bought the set? Buy another HDMI cable at monoprice.com and see how it goes, but I'd go and talk to the store manager to see what he/she has to say about your problem.

just on blu-ray I bought the tv yesterday so I can and will take it back if I have to, just would rather see if it can be fixed.

It doesn't sound like a cable issue. Could be tearing, I guess. Is there a firmware update available for the TV?

Now it is happening while I am on the dashboard on the 360 and in games and the 360 is hooked up to the tv through components.
